Milk froth

Press the steam button. The display will start counting down while the unit

is preheating.

Fill a jug with about 100 ml of milk for each cappuccino you want to prepare.

It is recommended to use cold whole milk for optimal results.

Note: Use a jug with a diameter greater than 70±5 mm, and bear in mind

milk doubles its volume during this process. Make sure the jar is enough

high.

Once the countdown elapses, the steam tube will start generating steam.

Insert about two centimetres of the steam tube into the milk. Move the jar

up and down to froth milk.

Once steam is generated, the panel will display the operating time of this

function, about 35 seconds. Press the steam button again to stop the

process.

Warning: Clean the steam exit with a wet sponge immediately after use. Be

careful not to burn yourself! Then, remove the steam tube and clean the

duct’s inside part. It is also recommended to emit steam again in order to

clean possible milk remaining inside the tube.

Note: The steam tube and the steam function can be used to froth milk or to

heat drinks such as hot chocolate, water, coee, etc.

Other functions

Coee grinding level knob

Warning:

Do not pour ground, instant coee or any other substances into the bean

tank.

Never use coee beans that have been stored in a freezer or candied beans

and avoid using roasted beans. It is suggested to use only fresh coee.

The coee grinding level knob located inside the bean tank should only be

adjusted during the coee grinding process.

Slow coee ow means the coee beans have been ground too nely. Press

and turn the coee grinding level knob clockwise in order to select coarser

grinding.

Fast and light coee ow means the coee beans have been ground too

coarsely. Press and turn the coee grinding level knob anticlockwise in

order to select a ner grinding.

Note: PowerMatic-ccino 6000 Serie Nera includes 5 grinding levels, and

PowerMatic-ccino 6000 Serie Bianca includes 6 grinding levels.
