• Before using the product, remove and dispose of any plastic bags and any other packaging elements and keep
them out of reach of children. Suffocation hazard!
• Before using the product, remove and dispose of the plastic strip applied to the back of the video telephone to
lower the volume and prevent any damage to the child’s hearing.
• Check the product regularly for signs of wear and damage and to ensure that it is assembled correctly. Should
any part be damaged, do not use the toy and keep it out of reach of children.
• Always use under constant supervision of an adult.
• Runs on 2 x 1.5 Volt AAA batteries (included). The batteries that are supplied with this product, at the point
of sale, are intended for demonstration purposes only; please replace immediately after completing
your purchase.
INTRODUCTION TO THE TOY
The rst videophone with “video-calls” and “MMS” functions. Babies can watch the images of their new friends
on the display, listen to a selection of tunes and ring tones and telephone sounds. It has an “MMS” button which
babies can press to activate two different animal sounds and the classic “MMS” sound. Its house shaped pendant
makes it is easy for babies to grasp.
HOW TO USE THE TOY
• To switch the toy on, simply move the switch on the side of the videophone from the 0 to I position. A short tune
will play, images will alternate on the luminous display and the front buttons will ash. After the phone sound,
you will hear the word "Hello!” which conrms it is switched on correctly.
• Press the front buttons to listen to 6 different tunes and the classic telephone sounds: on pressing the pink
button, an image of a little girl appears on the display; on pressing the blue button, the image of a little boy
appears on the display.
• Pressing the side button activates the classic “MMS” sounds; the disc rotates to display two different animals
and activate their animal sounds.
• After a few seconds of inactivity, a short tune is played with alternating images on the display to attract the
child’s attention to the toy.
• In order to avoid using up the batteries for no reason, it is recommended to switch off the toy by moving the
switch to 0 (OFF) when not in use.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
How to fit and remove the batteries
• Batteries must only be removed and tted by an adult.
• To replace the batteries: loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover with a screwdriver and open the
cover. Then remove the spent batteries and t new ones, ensuring that they have been tted in the correct polar-
ity (as shown on the product), close the battery cover, and tighten the screw.
• Always keep batteries and tools out of the reach of children.
• Always remove spent batteries from the product to avoid the danger of leakage from the battery damaging the
product.
• If the batteries happen to leak liquid, replace them immediately, making sure you clean the compartment be-
forehand; wash your hands thoroughly if you come into contact with any such liquid.
• Always remove the batteries if the product will not be used for a long period of time.
• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the correct function
of this product.
• Never mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Never mix new and old or different types of batteries.
• Do not burn or dispose of old batteries into the environment. Dispose of them at an appropriate differentiated
collection point.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they might explode.
• The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended as the toy may not work properly.
• This product is not designed for use with lithium batteries.
CLEANING, CARE & MAINTENANCE OF THE TOY
• Use a soft dry cloth to clean the plastic parts of the toy and avoid damage to its electronic circuit.
• Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the surface of the fabric pendant and ribbon only.
• Protect the toy against contact with water, heat, dust and sand.

The crossed bin symbol on the batteries or product pack indicates that, at the end of their life, they
must not be disposed of as urban refuse. They must be disposed of separately from domestic waste,
either by taking them to a separate waste disposal site or by returning them to your dealer when you
buy similar rechargeable or non-rechargeable batteries.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd, Pb, printed under the crossed bin symbol, indicate the type of substance contained
in the batteries: Hg=Mercury, Cd=Cadmium, Pb=Led.
