Incorrect installation of a child seat in a vehicle compromises the protection
of the child in the event of a collision. The ISOFIX system enables you to
reduce the risks that are posed by poor installation, providing your vehicle
with a fitting that is convenient, strong and reliable.
The ISOFIX RÖMER Duo
It is marketed by CITROËN. It has a top strap and is approved as "ISOFIX
universal, weight group B1".
When this is installed in the rear of the vehicle, the corresponding front
seat should be adjusted so that the child’s feet do not touch the backrest
of the front seat.
This ISOFIX child seat can also be installed in the seat positions that are
not equipped with ISOFIX anchoring points. In this case, it must be secured
to the vehicle seat by means of the vehicle seat belt.
