Electrical connection
Only connect your appliance to a correctly installed safety plug 230 V, 50 Hz.
Switching ON and OFF
Keep the lid in position, holding it tight with one hand. Press the ON/OFF switch
with your other hand. The grinder starts to grind and the control lamp lights up.
The appliance switches off if you release the switch.
Press the switch in intervals (i.e. press and then release etc.) for pulse operation.
This helps you set the level of fineness for the beans you are grinding.
With some practice you will find out which method best suits you. The following
contains some comments on the degree of fineness for the powder and the inten-
ded purpose. Please observe that these are only average values. Changes may
occur due to the sort and roasting of the coffee beans, for example.
Fine: – espresso machine
Fine/medium: – coffee machine
Medium: – hand filter
Medium/rough: – press coffee
Rough: – can
Cleaning
Always remove the plug before cleaning! Do not clean the appliance under run-
ning water. Do not immerse the appliance in water. Wipe the casing with a damp
cloth. Do not use any caustic detergents or scrubs.
Brush out any coffee residue in the grinding space with a dry brush. Clean the
transparent lid in a warm rinse bath. Wipe until thoroughly dry afterwards.
Guarantee
We accept a guarantee period of 24 months for the appliance we have sold from
the date of purchase (receipt).
During this period we will repair any defects in the appliance without charge,
provided that these defects are due to material or manufacturing faults. Subject
to our own decision, we will repair or replace the appliance. Guarantee services
neither extend the guarantee period nor do they mark the start of a new
guarantee period!
The receipt of purchase is the proof of guarantee. Free exchange or repair is not
possible without this receipt.
In the event of a guarantee claim, please return the complete appliance in the
original packaging together the receipt to your dealer.
