Using the unit

ޥ NOTE:

• During the subsequent heating-up phase you should keep

the baking surfaces closed.

• Lightly spread the outside of the toast (the side that will

later be in contact with the baking surfaces) with butter or

margarine so that later it will not be a problem to remove

your sandwich from the baking plates.

• After approx. 5 to 6 minutes the green control lamp lights

up. The baking temperature has now been reached.

• Open the cover and place each toast. Then close the lid

gently. Block the handle with the hinge. The green control

lamp goes off again after a few seconds.

ޥ NOTE:

• The green control lamp switches on and off during

the baking process in order to maintain the baking

temperature.

• The baking time depends on your individual taste.

The longer the sandwiches remain in the device, the

greater the level of browning.

• The baking section should always be closed in the

intervals between baking.

• Open the lid by releasing the hinge joint and remove the

pieces of toast with a wooden fork or similar implement.

CAUTION:

Do not use pointed or sharp objects to avoid damaging the

coating of the baking surfaces.

Cleaning

WARNING:

Always pull out the plug from the mains socket before cleaning

and wait until the unit has cooled down.

CAUTION:

• Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.

• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

• Under no circumstances should the device be immersed

in water for cleaning.

Baking Surfaces

• Please remove any food residues while they are still warm

with a damp cloth or paper towel.

• Wash off the baking surfaces with a soft sponge and soapy

water; then rinse with clear water and dry thoroughly with a

soft cloth. After drying please apply a thin ﬁ lm of edible oil

to the surface.

• Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp cloth.

the latest safety regulations.

Guarantee

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month

guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).

During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its

accessories ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will

be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by

replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension

of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a

new guarantee!

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase.

Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be

carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return

the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer

together with the receipt.

Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well as

cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not

covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!

The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.

After the expiry of the guarantee

After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the

competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the

ensuing costs.

Protect our environment: do not dispose of electrical equipment

in the domestic waste.

Please return any electrical equipment that you will no longer

use to the collection points provided for their disposal.

This helps avoid the potential effects of incorrect disposal on the

environment and human health.

can be obtained from your local authority.
