Proper use
❐ The device serves to remove small amounts of dirt from carpets and to freshen car-
pets. It is not a substitute for a conventional vacuum cleaner. It is necessary to thor-
oughly clean the carpet with a vacuum cleaner before using the device.
❐ Only use the device on fl oors and not on sofas, car seats or the like.
❐ Do not in any case vacuum up the following things:
– smouldering ashes, cigarette butts, matches etc.
– fl ammable or ignitable materials
– very fi ne dust (e. g. cement dust), toner or sand
– pointed, hard objects such as glass splinters
❐ The device is conceived for private use, not for commercial use.
❐ Only use the device as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed improper.
❐ All defects caused by improper treatment, damage, limescale build-up or repair at-
tempts are excluded from the guarantee. This also applies to normal wear and tear of
the individual components.

children and animals.

the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children, unless
