WARNING – risk of injury!

■ Risk of suﬀ ocation! Keep children and animals away from packaging materials.

■ Risk of strangulation! Make sure that the cord for the power adapter is always out

of reach of small children and animals.

■ Risk of chemical burns! If the battery leaks, never allow skin, eyes, or mucous

membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. Should this occur, rinse out

the aﬀ ected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention

immediately.

■ Danger of suction! Keep animals, hair, jewellery, loose clothing, ﬁ ngers and all

other body parts away from the nozzle of the device. They could be sucked in by

the vacuum. If the vacuum cleaner does suck something in, turn oﬀ the device im-

mediately.

■ Risk of falling! Make sure that the connected cord for the power adapter is not a

tripping hazard.

WARNING – ﬁ re and explosion hazard!

■ The battery may not be disassembled, exposed to temperatures higher than 50 °C,

thrown into ﬁ re, submerged in liquids or shorted.

■ Do not use the device in rooms where there are highly ﬂ ammable substances or

poisonous or explosive vapours.

■ Do not charge the device near highly ﬂ ammable materials (curtains, textiles, etc.).

■ Do not cover the device during operation and charging, as this can cause the device

to catch ﬁ re. Do not insert anything into the ventilation slits on the device and make

sure that these are not plugged up.

NOTICE – risk of material and property damage

■ When pulling out the power adapter of the socket, always pull on the power adapter

and never on the cord!

■ Ensure that the cord for the power adapter is not crushed, kinked or laid over sharp

edges, and that it does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wind the cord

around the power adapter.

■ Only use the device if it has been assembled completely and correctly! The dust

collector, ﬁ lter holder and ﬁ lter must be inserted and undamaged! If dirt gets

inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor.

■ Protect the device from open ﬂ ames, extreme temperatures, prolonged humidity,

moisture and impacts.

■ Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not to impair the function-

ing of the device and to prevent possible damage.

■ Take an expired battery out of the device immediately.
