Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines
and meticulously examined befor e delivery. In the e vent of
product defects you hav e legal rights against the retailer of
this product. Y our legal rights are not limited in an y way by
our warranty detailed below .
The warranty for this product is 3 years fr om the date of
purchase. Should this product sho w any fault in materials or
manufacture within 3 years fr om the date of purchase, we will
repair or replace it – at our choice – free of char ge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please
keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This docu-
ment is required as y our proof of purchase. This warr anty
becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or
maintained improperly .
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture.
This warranty does not cover pr oduct parts subject to normal
wear , thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries)
or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable
batteries or glass parts.
Contact your local community or municipal administration
for more details on how to dispose y our worn-out product.
Defective or used batteries must be recy cled in accordance
with Directive 2006/66/EC.
Return the batteries and/or the product to a collection site.
Improper disposal of batteries
can harm the environment!
Never dispose of batteries in y our household waste. They ma
y
contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazar dous
waste regulations. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals
are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury , Pb = lead. Therefore dis-
pose of used batteries through your municipal collection site.

Cleaning and care
Never use harsh cleaning agents or abr asives to
prev ent damaging the material.
Use a dry fluff-free cloth when you are cleaning or
polishing the product.
Disposal
The packaging is made of envir onmentally friendly materials,
which may be disposed of through your local r ecycling facilities.
When inserting the batter y ensure that it
is inserted the right way round! This is in-
dicated inside the batter y cover . Batteries
may other wise explode.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries.
Av oid contact with the skin, eyes and mu-
cous membranes. In the ev ent of contact
with batter y acid, thoroughly flush the
affected area with clean water and seek
immediate medical attention.
Av oid extr eme environmental conditions
and temperatures, e.g. abo ve r adiators.

children. Do not leave batteries lying
around. The y may other wise be swallowed
by children or pets. If accidentally sw al-
lowed seek immediate medical attention.
EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Never r echarge non-rechar geable
batteries, short-circuit and / or open bat-
teries. The batter y may overheat, ignite
or explode. Nev er thro w batteries into
fire or water . The batteries may e xplode.
Immediately remo ve drained batteries
from the product. Otherwise there is an
increased risk of leaking.
Alway s replace all the batteries at the
same time. Check regularly that the
batteries are not leaking.
Regularly check batteries for leaks.
Leaking or damaged batteries may result
in burns upon contact with the skin; always
wear suitable safety gloves!
Remove batteries during e xtended periods
of non-use.
