1. Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of y our new product. Y ou have chosen a high-qua-
lity product. The instructions for use are a part of this product. It contains important
safety, assembly and disposal information. Befor e using the product, please familia-
rise yourself with all safety notes and instructions for use. The product must only be used as
described and for the specified fields of application. When passing the product on to others,
be sure to also include all documentation.
1.1 Intended use
This product is suitable for lighting the roadw ay whilst cycling. The LED bike light set is appr oved
as ex clusive lighting for all bicycles. Light distribution must not be impaired b y other bicycle
parts or cargo. The product is intended for outdoor use. Any use not described abo ve or product
modification is prohibited and can result in injuries and pr oduct damage. The manufacturer
assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use. This pr oduct is not intended for
commercial use.

Always k eep the product out of the reach of children. This pr oduct is not a toy!
This product may be used b y children aged 8 years and up, as well as b y per-
sons with reduced phy sical, sensor y or mental capacities or lacking experience
and knowledge when supervised or instructed in safe product use and they
understand the associated risks. Do not allow childr en to play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without
super vision. Please note, damages caused by incorrect handling, non-com pli-
ance with the instructions for use or interference with the device by unauthor-
ised individuals are e xcluded from the warranty .
Never tak e the product apart. Improper repairs may r esult in considerable
danger to the user . Always have r epairs per formed by a professional. The LED
lights cannot be replaced. The battery is not replaceable.

2.1 Rechargeable batter y saf et y notes
CAUTION! D AN GER OF EXPLOSION! K eep rechargeable
batteries away from childr en, do not throw rechar geable batter ies
into fire, do not short-circuit and do not tak e apar t.
Failure to observe this may discharge the r echargeable batter y beyond their
end voltage. This poses a risk of leaking.
Avoid contact with the skin, e yes and mucous membranes if fluid has leak ed
from the rechar geable batteries. In the event of contact with batter y acid, thor-
oughly flush the affected area with clean water and seek immediate medical
attention.

3. Installation
3.1 Installing t he headlight (see Fig. A)

and hook in. T o prevent damage, do not use tools for

T o adjust the optimum angle to the direction of travel, turn the headlight

to the correct
position (see Fig. A).

ATTENTION! Routinely check the headlamp adjustment. The light cone must point straight
ahead, in the direction of trav el, and must not be adjusted too high so as not to blind on-
coming traffic.
3.2 Installing t he tail light (see Fig. B)

4. Operation

4.3 Charging the headlight / tail light (see Fig. A + D)

USB-charger with 5 V DC
and 500-1000mA. Using charger with different specifica-
tions can damage the batteries, and in turn the headlight and tail light. This will void the
warranty .

for the headlight flashes red when the batteries are low and need t o be recharged.

for the tail light lights up blue when the rechargeable batteries are
low and need to be rechar ged. The batter y monitor lights up green whilst charging. When
the rechargeable batteries are r eady for use, all 4 charging LEDs of the headlight rechar-
geable battery control system light up continuously and the rechargeable battery control
system on the tail light extinguishes. The headlight

are ready for use.
For the built-in batteries to operate at full po wer , be sure to charge the headlight batter y
for at least 6 hours when charging for the first time (tail light battery: at least 5 hours).
Please do not stop charging sooner , even if the LED is alr eady extinguished. After this, the
recommended charging time for the headlight is appr ox. 4.5 hours (recommended charg-
ing time for the tail light is 2.5 hours).
5. Cleaning and care
Never fully immerse the headlight and tail light in w ater. Do not use corrosiv e or abrasive
cleaning agents. These will damage the product.
Use a dry, lint-fr ee cloth for cleaning and care.
6. Disposal

Please note the markings on the packaging when sorting waste, these are mark ed
with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and
cardboard / 80-98: composites.
The product and the packaging ar e recyclable, dispose separately for better w aste management.
Contact your local was te disposal author ity for more details of how to dispose of your w orn-
out product.
T o help protect the environment, please dispose of the pr oduct properly when it has
reached the end of its useful life, not in the household waste. Please contact y our
municipality for information on collection facilities and their opening hours.
Defective or used rechar geable batteries must be recycled according to Directiv e 2006/66/
EC and its amendments. Return rechar geable batteries and / or the product to the recy cling
facilities provided.
Improper disposal of rec hargeable batteries ma y result in
environmental damage!
Rechargeable batteries may not be disposed with household w aste. They may contain toxic
heavy metals and are subject to hazardous w aste regulations. The chemical symbols of the
heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury , Pb = lead. Therefore dispose of used re-
chargeable batteries through a local collection point.
Improper disposal of rechar geable batteries destroys v aluable resources and the hazardous
substances in the rechargeable batteries may pose a significant danger to human health and
environment. Separ ate collection/disposal of rechargeable batteries prev ents dangers to hu-
man health and environment, and v aluable resources are regained b y recycling.
7. Warranty
Dear customer ,
The warranty for this product is 3 years fr om the date of purchase. In the event of product de-
fects, you have legal rights against the r etailer of this product. Y our legal rights are not limited
in any w ay by our warranty detailed below .
7.1 Warranty terms
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a safe
place. This document is required as y our proof of purchase. Should this device show an y fault
in materials or manufacture within three year s from date of purchase, it will be repaired or re-
placed - at our choice - by us free of char ge. This warranty is conditional on t he defective prod-
uct and the receipt of purchase being pr esented within the t hree year w arrant y period, and
on there being a brief written description of the nature of the defect and of the date it arose. If
the defect is cover ed by our warranty , we will return the repaired device or r eplacement thereof.
A repair or ex change of the device does not extend a new w arrant y period. Repairs made un-
der warranty do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to replaced and repaired
parts. Any damage or defects present at the time of purchase must be r epor ted immediately
after unpacking the appliance. Repairs made after the warranty per iod has expired ar e sub-
ject to payment.
7.2 Extent of warrant y
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously ex amined be-
fore delivery . The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This guarantee does
not apply to product parts which are subject to normal wear and tear and can be r egarded
as wearing parts, or for damage to breakable parts, e.g., switch, rechargeable batteries, or
parts which are made of glass. This warranty becomes void if the product has been dam-
aged, or used or maintained improperly . All instructions provided in the instructions for use
must be follow ed strictly to constitute proper use of the product. Purposes and practices which
the operating instructions warn of or advise against must be av oided without fail. This product
is intended for private, non-commercial use only . Any incorr ect or improper use of the appli-
ance, use of force and modifications not performed by our authorized service branch will
void the warr ant y.

A product recor ded as defective along with the proof of purchase (sales receipt) and a description
of the defect and when it occurred can then be returned free of charge t o the ser vice address
provided. Please note, the service department must be notified before returning the product!

1.1 Bestimmungsgemäße V er wendung
