Place the lace on or under the fabric.
The lace should lie about 0.2 inch from the edge
of the fabric.
Slide your work under the presser foot and
start stitching.
Draw the monogram you would like to stitch
and start stitching it with a zigzag stitch with the
desired width.
Attach the appliqué to the fabric.
Proceed to sew with close zigzag stitches along
the edges of the motif basted to the fabric
(fine fabrics have to be stretched in an
embroidery frame). As for corners and curves,
the appliqué should only be turned, when the
needle has reached the outer edge of the
appliqué, using the needle as a pivot.
Remove the basting thread.
