Using your Croozer

Adjusting the safety harness

1. Make sure that the harnesses are unbuckled; then

place the child in the seat.

2. Slide the triglide adjusters (1) up or down to adjust the

height of the shoulder straps. For the sake of clarity,

the photo on the right shows the Croozer with no pas-

senger and no shoulder-strap pads.

3. Buckle the child into the seat if the straps are long

enough.

4. Shorten the shoulder straps by pulling on the ends (3)

of the shoulder straps (under the shoulder-strap pads).

Lengthen them by lifting the adjustment buckles (4)

and pulling on the shoulder straps (2).

5. Shorten the lap belts by pulling on the ends (5) of

the lap belts. Lengthen them by lifting the adjustment

buckles (under the lap-belt pads) and pulling on the

lap belts.

6. Shorten the crotch strap by pulling on the end (6) of

the crotch strap. Lengthen it by lifting the adjustment

buckle (7) and pulling on the crotch strap (8).

7. Adjust the tension of all straps so that the child is held

securely but comfortably in the harness (i.e. ensure

that the straps are snug but not so tight that they

cause discomfort).

The distance between the child’s body and the shoulder

straps and lap belts must be as small as possible to en-

sure that the passenger is held securely in the seat. If the

distance is too great, the safety harness may not be able

to hold the child securely, which in the event of an acci-

dent could result in serious injury or death. If the distance

is too small, the straps can press too tightly against the

child’s body, causing discomfort.

Adjusting the head pads to the child’s height

The top section of the seatback has Velcro strips for at-

taching the head pads (9). The position of the head pads

can be adjusted to the height of the child.

1. Pull off the head pad (9).

2. Press the head pad onto the Velcro strips of the seat-

back at the appropriate height.

Tip: When your child is wearing a helmet, you can

remove the head pads for a more comfortable sitting

position.
