IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR STERILIZATION
1. Do not use the oven for the food.
2. Caution: Surface of utensil, tableware, etc., must be directly exposed to UV light for effective sterilization.
The ultraviolet ray can’t penetrate through the materials such as glass, metal and plastic.
3. For proper sterilization, utensils and cookware must be properly cleaned/washed before sterilizing.
4. Do not expose skin or eyes to UV radiation, excessive exposure may cause injury to skin or eyes.
5. UV lamp is only to be replaced by the type identified and by a properly trained service personnel.
6. Additional instructions may be required based on experience resulting from conduct of efficacy testing.
7. Do not use the oven for the medical use.
GUIDELINES TO USE ULTRAVIOLET STERILIZATION
1. When you sterilize towels or dishcloths, unfold them for effective sterilization.
2. After the UV sterilization, do not use microwave cooking with the utensil or the shelf left. This will damage
the utensil or the shelf.
3. Do not stack the bowl or other utensils. The utensils must be directly exposed to UV light.
4. Do not cover or block the openings for ultraviolet ray.
5. The glass jars or narrow neck bottles other than the flat dish, bowls, tableware, are not recommended for
UV sterilization.
6. For better UV-sterilization, refer to diagram found on page 13.
