Using your hob in all simplicity
A beep and a flashing 0 show that the zone
concerned has been turned on.
You can then choose the desired power.
If you do not set the power, the cooking zone
will turn itself off automatically.

other ring will automatically have its output
limited and the power displays will reflect this.
