HOW TTO UUSE TTHE PPYRO-CCLEAN PPROGRAM
a)Remove any accessories from the oven and wipe off any excess grime.
b) Check that the programmer displays normal time and that it is not flashing.
c)Press the program selection touch control until the "Pyro-clean" program
appears.
Your oven displays the pyro-clean symbols and Ctl corresponding to "Pyro
Control".
You can select the another cycle ( 2h) non-changeable, by pressing the
+
touch control.
The ] symbol will then be displayed on your oven together with "Pyr" which
corresponds to the 2h Pyro cycle.
W ith this cycle the oven cannot be used for 2h 30. This time allows for cooling
down until the door automatically unlocks itself.
d) Press the S TART/STO P touch control.
For Pyro Control the symbol moves.
For Pyro 2h the symbol remains steady.
- The door is locked automatically during pyro-cleaning (after about 2 minutes).
- You can consult the finishing time for the pyro-clean cycle by pressing touch control (Only for the Pyro 2h cycle).
After pyro-cleaning the symbol remains lit until the door is automatically unlocked.
e) Stop the oven by pressing the START/STO P touch control.
f) After the oven has cooled down, use a damp cloth for removing the white ash.
The oven is now ready for use.
Note: The pyro-cleaning temperature cannot be altered. During the cleaning cycle the lighting is switched off. If your oven is
still not clean after pyro-cleaning you have delayed cleaning too long. Repeat the operation.
IMPORTANT: Do not hang any cloths or towels on the oven door handle.
During the pyro-clean operation, the front of the oven gets hotter than during normal cooking.

How to program your pyro-clean to start when you want Model UMP 51*
Follow the instructions given in the section entitled "How to use the pyro-clean program", then:
1) For "Pyro Control":
a) Press touch control , the starting time of the pyro-clean program
flashes and the symbol also flashes to show that this time can be modified.
b) Set the time the program is due to start by pressing the
+ or
-
touch
controls.
Example: Begin the pyro-clean program at 5 am (05:00)
When the pyro-clean program is over press the S TART/STO P touch control.
NOTE : As the duration of the pyro-clean cycle is calculated during the cycle itself, depending on the state of the oven, you
can only adjust the time at which the cycle starts.
2) For the 2 hour Pyro:
a) Press touch control , the finishing time for the pyro-clean
program flashes and the symbol also flashes to show that this time can be
modified.
b) Set the time the program is due to finish by pressing the
+or
-
touch controls.
Example: End of pyro-clean program at 5:00.
When the pyro-clean program is over press the
START/STO P touch control.
