Removing the Audio Board
1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.
2. Remove the base cover (see Removing the Base Cover).
3. Remove the battery (see Removing the Battery).
4. Lift the connector latch and disconnect the audio-board cable from the connector on the system board.
5. Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the audio board.
6. Remove the two screws that secure the audio board to the palm-rest assembly.
7. Lift the audio board out of the computer.
Replacing the Audio Board
1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.
2. Align the screw holes on the audio board with the screw holes on the palm- rest assembly.
