Move a nger down in the zoom zone to zoom‑out.
Two‑nger zoom—Zoom-in or zoom-out using two ngers.
Place two ngers on the touchpad and then move them apart to
zoom‑in.
Place two ngers on the touchpad and then bring them closer to
zoom‑out.
Rotate
Twist—Rotate active content, in 90‑degree increments, using two
ngers.
Keeping the thumb in place, move the index nger in an arched
direction right or left to rotate the selected item 90‑degree
clockwise or counterclockwise.
Flick Flip content forward or backward.
Move three ngers quickly to the left or right to ip content
backwards or forward.
Quick Launch Open your favorite applications.
Tap three ngers on the touchpad to launch the pre-congured
application.
NOTE: Use the touchpad conguration tool to choose the
application to be launched.
Using your touch screen

: Avoid using the touch screen in dusty, hot, or humid environments.
NOTE: Sudden change in temperature may cause condensation on the inner surface of the screen. This does not aect normal
usage and disappears after the computer is kept on for at least 48 hours.
If your computer or tablet has a touch screen display, you can touch the screen to interact with the items instead of using a mouse or a
keyboard. Some of the basic tasks that you can perform using a touch screen are open les, folder, and apps, zoom‑in, zoom‑out, scroll,
rotate images, and so on.
You can perform the tasks that you would normally perform using a mouse, such as open les, folders, and applications, scroll using the
scroll bar, close and minimize windows using the buttons on the window, and so on.
You can also use the on‑screen keyboard using the touch screen.
Touch screen gestures
Touch screen gestures enhance the usability of a touch screen by allowing you to perform tasks like zoom, scroll, rotate, and so on, by
sliding or icking your nger on the display.

: Some of these gestures are application-specic and may not work in all applications.
