• warm the cups with hot water (using the hot water
function);
• set a hotter coee temperature in the settings menu (see
section “8.10 Setting the temperature”).
9.6 Making coee using coee beans
Important!
Do not use caramelised or candied coee beans as they could
stick to the coee mill and make it unusable.
1. Fill the container (A4 - g. 13) with coee beans;
2. Place under the coee spouts (A12):
- 1 cup, if you want to make 1 coee (g. 14);
- 2 cups if you want 2 coees;
3. Lower the spouts as near as possible to the cup. This makes
a creamier coee (g. 15);
4. Press the button corresponding to the number of coees
required (1 cup B6 or 2 cups B12 ) (gs.
12 and 16);
5. Preparation begins. The amount of coee selected appears
on the display (B4) together with a progress bar which
gradually lls as preparation progresses.
Please note:
• While the machine is making coee, delivery can be inter-
rupted at any moment by pressing any button.
• At the end of delivery, to increase the quantity of coee in
the cup, just press and hold (within 3 seconds) one of the
coee buttons ( or ).
Once the coee has been made, the appliance is ready to make
the next drink.
Please note!
• Various alarm messages could be displayed while using
the appliance (FILL TANK, EMPTY GROUNDS CONTAINER,
etc.). Their meaning is explained in section “18. Displayed
messages”.
• For hotter coee, see section “8.10 Setting the
temperature”.
• If the coee is delivered a drop at a time, too weak and not
creamy enough or too cold, read the tips in section “19.
Troubleshooting”.
9.7 Making coee using pre-ground coee
Important!
• Never add pre-ground coee when the machine is o or it
could spread through the inside of the machine and dirty
it.
This could damage the appliance.
• Never use more than 1 level meas-
ure (C2) or it could dirty the inside
of the coee machine or block the
funnel.
Please note!
If you use pre-ground coee, you can only make one cup of
coee at a time.
1. Press the
button (B7 - g. 9) repeatedly until
“Pre-ground” appears on the display (B4);
2. Release the pre-ground coee funnel lid (A5) by pressing
on the word PUSH, then lift to open;
3. Make sure the funnel (A6) is not blocked, then add one
level measure of pre-ground coee (g. 17);
4. Place a cup under the coee spouts (A12);
5. Press the 1 cup coee button (B6 - g. 11);
6. Preparation begins. The amount of coee selected is dis-
played together with a progress bar which gradually lls as
preparation progresses.
Please note!
If “Energy Saving” mode is active, you may have to wait a few
seconds before the rst coee is delivered.
10. MAKING CAPPUCCINOS AND MILK BASED
COFFEES
Please note!
• To avoid producing milk with poor froth or large bubbles,
always clean the milk container lid (D2) as described in
sections “10.4 Cleaning the milk frother using CLEAN” and
“12.10 Cleaning the milk container” and the hot water con-
nection nozzle (A13) as described in section “12.11 Clean-
ing the hot water/steam connection nozzle”.
10.1 Filling and attaching the milk container
1. Remove the lid (g. 18);
2. Fill the milk container (D3) with a sucient quantity of
milk, not exceeding the MAX level marked on the handle
(g. 19). Each mark on the side of the container corre-
sponds to 100 ml of milk.
Please note!
• For a denser more even froth, you must use skimmed or
partially skimmed milk at refrigerator temperature (about
5°C).
• If “Energy saving” mode is enabled, you may have to wait a
few seconds before the drink is delivered.
3. Make sure the milk intake tube (D4) is correctly inserted in
the bottom of the milk container lid (g. 20);
4. Place the lid back on the milk container;

    Ich habe die DeLonghi ECAM 28.466.M Primandonna de luxe.

    Bei der Zubereitung von vorgemahlenem Kaffe trat ein mechanisches Problem auf:

    Nachdem ich mit Hilfe der PUSH Funktion die Abdeckung des Pulverkaffeefaches geöffnet hatte, schließt die Abdeckung jetzt nicht mehr und bleibt offen.

    Was ist zu machen ?
