4. USING THE FUNCTIONS
In order to use all the functions of this heater to their maximum potential follow carefully the instructions below
and those shown in the table on page 6.
In addition to the normal heating settings, two exclusive functions, INSTANT HEATING SYSTEM, and POWER
MODULATION are incorporated in the RAPIDO. These are accessed by SELECTING THE I H S button in com-
bination with the Minimum and Medium switches.
INSTANT HEATING SYSTEM
By pressing the I H S button (fig 3) in conjunction with switches l and ll, an exclusive heating function is acti-
vated which warms up your room rapidly and silently.
POWER MODULATION FUNCTION
By activating the I H S button (fig 3) and switches l and ll, the Power Regulation function is activated.
With this function, in addition to the Instant heat system, your heater will be able to select the power level
most comfortable to suit your needs.
In this mode the instant heat function is constantly active to maintain a basic comfort level - it is not regulat-
ed by the thermostat.
The functions are all clearly illustrated in the table on p.5.
Turning the appliance on
Insert the plug into the electrical socket; turn the thermostat until it stops at the maximum position (6); turn on
the heater using one or a combination of switches as indicated in the table.
Regulation of the thermostat ( P -fig3)
When the room has reached the desired temperature, turn the thermostat slowly in an anticlockwise direc-
tion until it arrives at the position where a click can be heard and not beyond this point.
The temperature selected in this way will be automatically regulated and maintained.
(NOTE : In the Power Modulation Mode the instant heat function will remain constantly on - not controlled
by the thermostat)
Anti-frost Function
With the thermostat in the
*
position and the l and /or ll switches are pressed, this ensures that the room
temperature is maintained and does not fall below circa 5°C, whilst using minimum energy.
