Please read carefully through the following information
and keep these operating instructions, in case you need to
refer to them later.
Designated use
• The melting pot is for the purpose of melting chocolate in quantities that generally
occur in private households. It is not suitable for commercial use, e.g. in restaurants or
in other catering establishments.
• Mixed chocolates (pralines, nut ½ llings or similar) are not suitable for melting.
• The melting pot must not be used outdoors.
• The appliance may only be used with the included accessories.
Hazard for children and a wider group of persons
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental abilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received
instructions for use of the device from this person in advance.
• Keep children away from packaging material. Suffocation hazard if swallowed. Ensure
that packaging bag is not put over the head.
• Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Hazard from electricity
Electric shock hazard! The appliance operates with
hazardous voltage.
Handling liquids in relation to electrical appliances requires
utmost attention!
A frequent cause of household accidents a lack of attention
during routine activities. Ensure that your hands are always
dry when connecting/disconnecting the mains plug or when
operating the appliance.
