Wrist Strap - Use the Wrist Strap to keep your Pix Jr. camera safe.
USB Connection - Connects the camera to your computer.
SD Card Slot - The SD Card Slot is located inside the battery compartment.
Have an adult help you put in an SD Card so that you can take more pictures!
Magic Wand button - Add fun Disney PhotoFriends to your pictures!
Left button - Scroll back through your pictures.
Right button - Scroll forward through your pictures.
Display Screen - Look at the Display Screen to see the picture you want to
take, or to look at pictures you have taken.
Trash Can button - Delete one of your photos or all of them.
Installing the Batteries
Your new Pix Jr. camera is powered by four AA batteries (not included).
To install the camera batteries, have an adult:
1. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the two screws on the
bottom of the camera. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert the batteries as shown by the + and - signs on the battery door.
3. Replace the battery door and screw it back into place.
4. Press any button to turn on the camera. The camera is ready to take lots
of fun pictures!
Turning on your Camera
Once the batteries are installed, the camera can be turned on by pressing
any button.
The camera does not have an “Off” button. If the camera remains inactive
for one minute, it will turn off automatically.
Installing the Software
To install the Pix Software to your computer:
1. Insert the Pix CD-ROM into your computer’s CD/DVD-ROM drive.
2. The program should automatically begin. If it doesn’t, select My
Computer from the Desktop and then double-click on the CD Drive.
If the application still doesn’t start, open the Setup folder and double-click
setup.exe
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Snapshot button - Use the Snapshot button to take pictures.
Camera Lens - Keep the lens clean and avoid putting hands and ngers
near it so that your pictures are clear.

Your new Pix Jr. camera uses simple icons to help you take great photos.
The USB Connection icon shows when your camera is
connected to your computer.
The Memory Full icon shows when you have lled your
camera’s memory. Connect the camera to your computer
to download your photos. This icon will also appear if there is
a problem with the SD card.
This icon shows that one photo is about to be deleted.
This icon shows that all the pictures on the camera are about
to be deleted.
You will see this icon if your SD card is locked. In order to save
any pictures to the card, it must be removed and unlocked.
This icon shows when the batteries in your camera need
to be replaced.
