E01
Communication error. The control board and
computer are not communicating correctly.
The machine stops and goes into fault status, computer shows “E1”, and the alarm beeps three times.
Possible causes: check all the connection points between the console and controller. Make sure all plugs
are well connected. Check all the wires for damage. If this fails, change the connector wires.
E02
Erratic motor cable connection
Start and stop fault status. The computer beeps 9 times and shows “E2”. Treadmill goes into the ready
mode and restarts. Possible causes: low power or voltage, or faulty controller. Check all motor wires for
correct connection.
E03
Speed sensor error.
Stops and go into fault status. Computer shows “E03”. Other areas show blank. After 10 seconds the
machine will go into ready mode, and can be restarted.
Possible causes: the computer is not receiving motor speed sensor feedback for more than 3 seconds:
check sensor plug and motor connection wires. Check the controller.
E04
Incline motor error
Check if incline motor sensor wire and AC wire are well connected. After checking press the button on
controller to reset the incline motor adjustment.
E05
Over-current protection.
Stops and goes into fault status, computer shows “E05”. Other areas show blank. After 10 seconds the
machine will go into ready mode, and can be restarted.
Possible causes: system encounters overvoltage and goes to self-preservation. Moving parts may be
blocked. Check and adjust the machine and restart. Check motor or controller for burning smell. If so,
change motor and/or controller. Check whether the power voltage is too low or not to the standard and
retest with the correct voltage.
E06
Controller self-check error.
Computer shows "E06". Possible causes: the controller wires are not connected well, check and
reconnect or change. After checking press the button on controller to reset the system.
E07
EPROM (Data memory error)
Computer shows“E08”. Possible causes: the controller wires are not connected well, check and
reconnect or change EPROM IC.
