SAFETY HINTS

The appliance may only be operated on an electricity supply which corresponds to the

voltage and type of currenct speciﬁ ed on the housing.

Please verify the voltage selector is set to the position that corresponds with the supply

voltage of your region otherwise the appliance might suffer serious damages which

will not be covered by the guarantee.

Warning : this hair dryer must not be taken into a bathroom and is not to be used near

basins or other vessels containing water.

This is dangerous ! Do not use the hair dryer with damp hands. There is a risk even

when the hair dryer is switched off.

For additional protection, only use the appliance with a residual current device.

If however, the appliance should fall in to water , pull the power plug out of the socket

immediately.

Never place your hand in the water.

Have your appliance checked by a qualiﬁ ed electrician before using it again.

Do not direct aerosols or water sprays into your appliance.

Ensure that your appliance does not get wet (water, splashing, etc.) and do not use it

with wet hands. If you put your appliance down whilst drying your hair, always switch

it of as a precaution.

The air outlet grille will inevitably become hot during use.

Do not allow the cable to come into contact with the air outlet during use.

When drying your hair in rollers, do not allow any clips, hairpins, etc. to project more

than 10 mm (ﬁ nger width) so as to ensure that they cannot come into contact with the

live parts inside the appliance.

Children do not realise the dangers arising from improper use of electrical appliances.

Children should not therefore be allowed to use a hair dryer without supervision.

Please read these operating instructions carefully and explain all necessary precaution

to your children.

The air inlet and outlet openings should never be obstructed.

If however, the airﬂ ow is inadvertedly obstructed during use, the built-in thermals

safety cutout will automatically switch off the appliance. The hair dryer will switch on

again automatically after cooling down for a few minutes.

Always unplug your appliance after use and before cleaning it !

This hair dryer is protected against overheating. If the air inlet grill or the air outlet is

covered up, the safety cutout will automatically switch off the hair dryer. After cooled

down sufﬁ ciently, the hair dryer will switch on again and continue to function as

usual.

When the hair dryer is used, high temperatures may occur which can lead to burns

if touched. For this reason, you should use the handle provided and warn other users

likewise.

If the grill becomes clogged, it should should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or
