binding tapes onto the leg rafters which are situated on the inside

of the porch awning next to the cushion pads. Now you need to

put the corner angles, fitted with a leg rafter, on the front side of the

porch awning, use the roof rafters to attach this section with the

corner angles at the caravan wall.

8) In case your porch awning has a canopy you now need to fix the

canopy stub poles into the corner angles. After this you should slide

the canopy roof poles (these are the frame parts fixed crosswise

onto the canopy stub poles) through the fitted sleeves in the ca-

nopy, after which you can place them on top of the spikes of the

small canopy stub poles.

9) The panels that you zipped out earlier on can now be zipped back

into place. Make sure all zips are completely closed.

10) Commence tensioning the canopy stub poles when your porch

awning is fitted with a canopy. Tension these so that the front roof

poles only just touch the fabric on the inside of the porch awning

canvas. Tighten the clamps carefully to prevent the frame sections

sliding into one another. Tension the front poles crosswise followed

by the roof rafters running parallel to the caravan wall. Now you only

need to do the same with the roof rafters on the side of the porch

awning and finally adjust the height of the remaining leg rafters so

that all the pegging points are the same height from the ground. In

case the frame of the porch awning is provided with an extra roof

rafter, you should now assemble this one exactly into the centre

between the two other roof rafters.

11) You are now ready for pegging the porch awning with the use of

ladder straps and pegs. First attach all ladder straps to the anchor

fittings. Put the pegs into the ground, starting at the two pegging

points at the corner of the side walls against the caravan. After this

you put two pegs into the ground at the two front corners making

sure that the side walls are positioned in a straight line. Now you can

peg out the rest.

12) You can now pull the draught skirt through the rail situated at the

bottom of the caravan. When a rail is fitted onto your caravan you

can now insert the wheel arch cover into this rail. The wheel arch

cover can also be fixed into position by using the enclosed snap-

fasteners and screws. When you fix these to your caravan make

sure that you use a waterproof sealant under the snap-fastener to
