CONVERSION INSTRUCTIONS
The conversion must be carried out by a qualified fitter.
Before commencing the conversion:
• Disconnect the gas supply.
• Remove the front.
• Take out the glass pane by removing the glass strip (4) at
the top.This is fitted with 4 self-tapping screws (5).
• Remove the vermiculite trays on the left and right (A).
• Disconnect the gas supply pipe.
• Remove the cover (B) by unscrewing the two bolts (C).
Replacing the components
Pilot-light jet
Unscrew the nut (E) at the end of the pilot-light hose,
pull the hose with ring clamp our of the pilot-light burner
and remove the jet. Fit the new jet and tighten the nut
on the pilot-light hose firmly.
Main burner jets
• Remove the burner tray (F).This is fitted with 4 self-
tapping screws (G).
• Using an open-ended spanner remove the two main
burner jets (H) on the left and right, and fit the new ones.
• Replace the burner tray.
Fine adjustment jet
Take the cover off the gas control block by unscrewing the
screw (I). Now remove the fine adjustment jet (J). Fit a
new fine adjustment jet and tighten well. Replace the
cover.
Remark: If you cannot reach the pilot light burner properly,
remove the entire burner unit.
• Remove the 3 self-tapping screws (D)
• Take the burner unit out of the appliance. Handle the
burner unit carefully: the long gas supply pipe means it is
easily damaged.
