Use:
First nd a stable surface. If you are using an adapter to power the appliance, place
the appliance near an electricity power point rst before you start it. (Extension
leads can also be used if necessary.)
We recommend using this device by mains operation in order to achieve
an optimal performance. Determined by production ow, you might also
operate the device with batteries, but then it possibly won‘t achieve its
full performance. If you want to use batteries anyway, please refer to the
following point „use with batteries“.
Use with batteries:
Unscrew the battery compartment. Insert eight size „AA“ alkaline batteries (not
included in contents). Replace the lid on the battery compartment and screw
securely.
Before using the appliance:
1. Push the front button „ON“ to start the motor and the LED will light up blue.
2. Push the button „OFF“ to turn off the motor, or if the battery is running low or
the chocolate is not owing; alternatively, use the AC adapter (included).
Using the AC adapter:
Insert the AC adapter (included) in to the DC connector port (5) and insert the
other end into the mains plug.
Important:
Always plug the device into a socket that has been properly installed and
which is appropriate for the technical specications of the device.
Preparing the chocolate
For the chocolate to ow through the fountain properly, you must melt it rst and
mix it with some avourless vegetable oil before pouring it into the bowl.
You can either melt the chocolate in the microwave or over a water bath.
For the chocolate to ow well through the fountain, you should use at least 350 g,
and 600 g is ideal. The chocolate fountain is designed for 600 g of chocolate.
You can melt the chocolate as well in the chocolate fountain. To do this give the
chocolate broken in small pieces into the bowl.
