• Press the key. Then use the cursor keys H or P to scroll through to the MODULE PRINTING mode:
• Press ENTER to select. The annunciator FIXED + TBLOCK will be highlighted.
• You will be asked to enter the length of the smallest module. The Default value is set at 17,5mm or 0.75 inch.
• Use the keyboard to enter the numbers. Move the cursor to the left with arrow Q to set the left-hand digits. Press ENTER
to select.
• You will now be asked to enter (via the keypad) the total number of modules on 1 row. Default value is set at 1.
- min. amount of modules is 1
- max. amount of modules is 99
• Press ENTER to select.
• The printer will now ask you to define one by one the size of each of the different modules . The size is always the length of
the smallest module times a factor X. After each module press ENTER to confirm.
- min. is 1 & max. is 9 that can be used for factor X.
• Now the layout of your module rack has been setup you can start to fill in the data. This can be done by entering data
manually
or using data stored onto the memor
y card
(for downloading data onto the memory card see manual Part II page ??).
- Max. 2 lines can be printed.
-We strongly recommend that you first set your font size in function of the number of lines and characters required per
module.
A. Manual Entry
1. Please enter the text for your first module.
2. Press the print button. Press ENTER or the Print button again to start printing the current label for the first module
3. Press + to erase the previous text from the display.
4. Type in the text for the next module. Select [current] from the printing menu. Press enter or the print button again to
start printing the label for the second module.
5. Please repeat steps 3 to 4 until all labels of the module rack are printed.
- After each label a vertical line will be printed.
- The text is automatically centered on each label.
- If you don’t whish to print all of the labels you have defined at the beginning you
can end the selection by pressing + . The printer will feed his trailer.
- An incorrect printed size can occur due to the mechanical limitations (tolerances) of the printer when giving in data
manually. Some slight adjustment will than have to be made to the size of the smallest module .
B. Using data stored onto the memory card
See section “ Using files from the memory card “ starting Page 19.
When using data from your memory card you have 2 options:
1. Group Printing
If you wish to print all the labels in a group stored on your memory card (Go to page 18 for more details.)
NOTE:
• If there are more labels inside the selected group than pre-defined modules only the first labels are printed (# modules).
• If there are less labels inside the selected group than modules only the labels inside the group will be printed and the rest of
the label will be left blank.
• If one label inside the selection creates an error against the available features the printer will produce a blank label.
2. Selection printing
If you wish to print a selection of labels from your memory card: (Go to page 19 for more details.)
