THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING TO BUY A DYSON LIGHT

DYSON CUSTOMER CARE

Your fixture is covered for 5 years from the date of purchase, subject to the terms of the limited warranty.

If you have any questions about your fixture, call the Dyson Helpline with your serial number and details of where and

when you bought the fixture.

Note your serial number here for future reference.

Your serial number can be found on the on the registration sheet in the box, and also on the large information sticker

which can be found inside the driver box when the fixture is unpacked.

This illustration is for example purposes only.

A comprehensive installation guide is enclosed with the fixture's packaging. This contains detailed information on

the correct installation of the fixture, which MUST be adhered to completely, including routing of electrical cables.

Damage caused by incorrect installation is not covered by your guarantee.

The instructions in this manual and the installation guide must be followed completely, as failure to do so may result in

incorrect operation, damage to property and/or personal injury. Dyson Canada will not be held liable for any damage to

property or personal injury, or any loss of business or revenue, if you, your staff, your installer or service engineers have

not followed the instructions given in this manual and the installation guide.

YOUR WARRANTY

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE DYSON 5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.

If you have registered your fixture online, your warranty will start from the date of purchase. Please retain your proof

of purchase. If you do not have your proof of purchase, your warranty will start 90 days after the date of manufacture,

according to Dyson’s records.

This warranty will be void if the fixture is installed and used in a country outside the one in which it was sold.

WHAT IS COVERED

5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

All factory parts of your light are warrantied against original defects, material and workmanship when used in

accordance with the owner’s manual and installation guide for a period of 5 years from the start of your warranty.

• Any parts which are returned and replaced by Dyson will become the property of Dyson.

• The replacement of any part of your unit under warranty will not extend the period of warranty.

• This warranty provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect any statutory rights you may have

as a consumer.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Dyson does not warranty the repair or replacement of a product as a result of:

• Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, unintentional or deliberate misuse, neglect, vandalism,

careless operation or handling of the unit which is not in accordance with the Dyson operating manual.

• Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Dyson.

• Use of parts and accessories which are not genuine Dyson components.

• Faulty installation, or installation that does not precisely follow the installation instructions supplied by Dyson

(except where installed by Dyson).

• Repairs or alterations carried out other than in accordance with instructions by Dyson.

• Damage from external sources such as transit, weather, electrical outages or power surges.

• Normal wear and tear (e.g. fuse, etc.).

• Damage caused by cleaning which is not in line with the instructions in this manual. Do not use chemicals to clean

the fixture.

• Damage caused by water ingress due to cleaning or treatment prohibited in this manual.

• Any electrical, flooding or structural damage, or any loss of business or revenue as a result of product failure. If you are

in any doubt as to what is covered by your warranty, please contact Dyson (details on the back cover).

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

• Any implied warranties relating to your appliance including but not limited to warranty of merchantability or warranty

of fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty. This limitation is not allowed by some

Provinces and/or Territories and so this limitation may not apply to you.

• Your remedy for breach of this warranty is limited to the warranty service described above.

• Dyson Canada Limited will not be liable for any consequential damages or incidental damages you may incur in

connection with the purchase and use of your appliance.

MANDATORY INSTALLATION

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE US &

CANADA

TO ENSURE THAT THE INSTALLATION OF THE FIXTURE COMPLIES

WITH UL REGULATIONS, THIS ADDITIONAL INSTALLATION

INFORMATION MUST BE FOLLOWED:

1. For Recess Mounting - The driver box must be installed within a metal

enclosure with has conduit access above the ceiling. This must be

obtained and fitted before installation of the fixture.

2. For Surface Mounting - An additional junction box adapter must be

used to connect the driver box to the junction box. Please contact the

Dyson Helpline to obtain this part
