• Make sure that the tank is at least half full before you use the steam
burst function.
• You can also use the steam burst function if the steam control dial is
set to the position.
1. Turn the steam control dial 5 all the way to the position.
2. Heat up the iron (see chapter “Switching the iron on and heating it up”).
Choose heat setting 6 as a minimum as steam will not be produced on settings
lower than this due to lower operating temperatures.
3. Hold the iron in a level position over the article of clothing/part of the textile you
would like to iron.
4. Push the steam burst button 3 once briefly.
A hot shot of steam is discharged from the water vapour spray openings in the
sole plate 9.
Only use the steam burst function no more than three times in a row, at least four
seconds apart.
Using the spray function
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Using the spray function for articles of clothing or other textiles made
of silk may cause water stains.
− Do not use the spray function on silk.
− Instead, wrap up the silk e.g. in wet cloths.
With the spray function, you can moisten the articles of clothing/textiles in front of
the spray nozzle with a fine mist.
You can use the spray function at any time.
1. Point the iron or the spray nozzle 10 at the area you would like to moisten.
2. Push the spray burst button 15 .
If applicable, push the spray burst button several times if there is still air
in the system.
