If you pass the product on to someone else,

Designated use
The purpose of the appliance is for brushing teeth and is
only suitable for private households. It is not suitable for
commercial use.
The appliance may only be used with the included accessories
and matching toothbrush attachments.
Hazard for children and a wider group
of persons
This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8, as
well as by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental
abilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, if they are
under supervision or after receiving instruction on safe use
of the appliance and have understood the resulting hazards.
Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they
are supervised and more than 8 years old.
Children under the age of 8 should be kept away from the
appliance.
Keep children away from packaging material. Su ocation
hazard if swallowed. Ensure that packaging bag is not put over
the head.
Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
Hazard from electricity
Electric shock hazard! The appliance
operates with hazardous voltage.
Handling liquids in relation to electrical appliances requires
utmost attention!
A frequent cause of household accidents is a lack of attention
during routine activities. Ensure that your hands are always
dry when connecting/disconnecting the mains plug or when
operating the appliance.
The appliance must not be exposed to dripping or spray water.
The charging station must not be immersed in water or other
liquids. Electric shock hazard! Therefore, also do not use the
charging station in the vicinity of moisture sources, e.g. a sink,
bathtub or shower.
Do not operate the appliance outdoors and do not expose it to
weather in uences, such as rain, snow or frost.
Only connect the charging station to a properly installed
socket, with voltage corresponding to the “technical data”.
When using an adapter plug or extension cord, these must
comply with the valid safety regulations. The speci ed
maximum voltage must not be exceeded.
Ensure that th socket is well-accessible, so that you can remove
the mains plug quickly, if necessary.
Do not use the appliance:
– if the appliance is damaged,
– if the power cable or mains plug are damaged.
– if the device has fallen.
Unwind the power cable completely prior to each use. In doing
so, ensure that the power cable is not trapped, squeezed or
damaged by sharp edges or hot items.
Disconnect the mains cable from the socket:
– if you are not using the charging station,
– after the charging process,
– before cleaning or putting the appliance away,
– if an obvious fault occurs during operation,
– in a thunder storm.
Always pull on the mains plug, not on the power cable.
Do not carry out any modi cations to the appliance or its
mains cable.
Only allow repairs to be carried out on appliances by a
professional workshop. Please also note the guarantee
conditions.
The power cable of the charging station cannot be replaced. If
damaged, the appliance must be disposed of.
The brush handle may only be used with the supplied charging
station.
The appliance must not be connected to a time switch or other
separate remove activation system, such as a dimmer switch
or a remote-control socket.
Injury hazards from other causes
Lay the power cable to that it does not become a trip hazard.
Replace worn or damages brush attachments immediately in
order to prevent injuries in the area of the mouth and teeth.
Caution – property damage
Place the device on a sturdy, even and heatproof surface.
When doing so, ensure a su ciently large distance to strong
heat sources, e.g. heating plates, heating pipes, et al.
Avoid a heat accumulation and position the appliance so that
heat can escape all around the housing during use.
Do not place any items, e.g. cloths or magazines on the
charging station. Fire hazard!
A rubberised stand surface is situated on the underside of the
appliance. As the furniture/ oor surfaces are made of diverse
materials and are treated with diverse care products, it cannot
be entirely ruled out that some of these materials contain
components, which could attack and soften the appliance
stand surface. If necessary, place a non-slip base under the
appliance.
Do not use any aggressive chemical detergents, abrasives, hard
sponges, or similar, for cleaning.
Instructions on the charging
procedure/battery
Overcharging of the battery is excluded. If the battery
charged, remove the brush handle from the charging station
and remove the mains plug of the charging station from the
socket.
If the movements of the brush attachment reduce noticeably
or if a depleted battery is displayed on the brush handle, the
battery requires recharging.
You will contribute to the care of the battery if you only charge
it when it is depleted.
Continuous charging reduces the life of the battery.
Prior to disposal of the appliance, the battery must be
removed from the appliance, please refer to Environmental
information.
Prior to removing the battery,
disconnect the charging station from
the power supply and completely discharge
the brush handle.
Prior to initial use
Unpacking
Remove the appliance and accessories from the packaging.
With the order card, you can reorder
toothbrush attachments, as required.
Keep these with the operating instructions.
Carefully remove all packaging material and completely unroll the
power cable.
Before using the appliance for the rst time, check whether the
voltage speci cation on the rating place corresponds to that of your
household. The rating plate is on the underside of the charging station.
Clean the appliance with a slightly dampened cloth prior to initial use,
in order to remove possible packaging and production residues.
Rinse the toothbrush attachments (5, 7, 8 and 9) under running water
and wipe both parts dry.
Place the charging station (1) on a sturdy, level surface.
First-time charging and additional
charging processes
Connect the charging station (1) an to a properly installed socket and
place the brush handle (2) onto the charging station as shown.
Leave the brush handle (2) on the
charging station (1) for approx. 24
hours when charging for the fi rst time.
The LED function display (4) fl ashes green
during the charging process. When the
charging process is completed, the function
display (4) will continuously illuminate
in green. After the fi rst charging process,
around 16 hours are suffi cient for each
additional charging process.
The brush handle (2) can only be switched
on after approx. 2 seconds after being
removed from the charging station.
A red fl ashing LED function display (4)
in operation or approx. 30 seconds after
switching off indicates a depleted battery.
Depending on the remaining capacity,
several brushing cycles can still be carried
out. Charge the brush handle (2) for
approx. 16 hours.
It is normal for the brush handle to heat up
during charging.
The charging process takes place using
induction and can be impaired by metallic
items that are in the vicinity of the charging
station. Maintain a minimum distance of
10 cm between metallic items and the
charging station.
Disconnect the charging station from the
power supply as soon as the charging
process has ended.
Use
Toothbrush attachment
Attach the toothbrush attachment (5) straight onto the brush handle
(2) as shown. In order to remove the toothbrush attachment, pull it
straight o of the brush handle.
Moisten the brush and apply toothpaste.
Only start the oscillating brush after the brush is inside the mouth.
By repeatedly pressing the on/o function button (3), you can access
the following functions:
Function 1 = Normal (vibration with 30,000 rpm, LED function
display (4) illuminates in red
Function 2 = Soft (vibration with 40,000 rpm, LED function
display (4) illuminates in yellow)
Function 3 = Massage (interval vibration with 35,000 rpm, LED
function display (4) illuminates in green)
