■ Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery types,

brands or batteries of different capacitances. When replacing

the batteries, make sure that the polarity (+ / –) is correct.

■ Remove the batteries if they are empty or if you are not using

the products for an extended period. This way, you can avoid

damage caused by leaking.

■ Immediately remove a leaking battery and clean the contacts

before inserting new batteries.

■ Batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by any other

means, taken apart, thrown on a ﬁ re, immersed in liquids or

short-circuited.

■ Never submerge the article in water or other liquids!

■ Protect the article against heat, open ﬂ ames, direct sunlight,

minus temperatures, prolonged exposure to moisture, wetness

and percussions.

■ The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.

■ Do not in any case use any strong or corrosive cleaners or

rough sponges. They could damage the surface.

■ Do not take the article apart and do not attempt to repair it. In

the event of any damage, please contact our customer service

department.

Items Supplied

• 1 x real wax candle

• 1 x USB cable (A connector to Micro B connector)

• 1 x remote control with 1 x 3 V button cell (CR2025) already

inserted (the protective strip must be removed)

• 1 x instructions

Check the items supplied for completeness and possible transport

damage. If you should ﬁ nd any transport damage, do not use the

articles(!), but contact the customer service department.

Inserting / changing the batteries of the article

For battery operation, 2 batteries (1.5 V, type AA) are

required. They are not included in the product contents.

1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the candle:

Press the locking catch on the battery compartment cover and

remove it.

2. If applicable, remove the empty batteries and insert 2 new

batteries (1.5 V, type AA). In the process, make sure that the

polarity (+ / –) is correct.

3. Insert the battery compartment cover and ﬂ ip it shut. It must

click audibly into place.

If the power of the candle diminishes, replace the batteries.

Changing the remote control battery

1. The battery compartment is located

on the narrow side of the remote

control. Remove it as shown.

2. Remove the empty battery and

insert a new battery (3 V, type

CR2025). The positive terminal

must point upwards.

3. Slide the battery compartment all the way back into the remote

control. It must audibly and noticeably lock into place.

Power supply using a USB cable

Before connecting the article to a power source by USB ca-

ble you should remove the batteries.

If the article is to be operated with the USB cable that is also sup-

plied, connect the end with the micro USB connector to the micro

USB connection socket on the article and connect the other end

to a socket via a suitable mains adapter (not supplied with the

article).

Putting into Operation

• Slide the switch on the bottom of the candle to the ON position

to switch it on.

• Further settings can be made via the remote control:

a Stop – the projection stops

rotating, the LEDs remain on

b Speed – Rotation can be set

in 3 speed levels

c Timer – set time for automati-

cally switch off

after 2, 4, 6 or

8 hours (24-hours-mode)

d RESET – reset the set time

e Flash – blink

f On / Off (stand-by)

• The candle switches off automatically after the set time (2, 4, 6,

8 hours).

The candle can be switched back on again at any time

by pressing the On / Off-button (f) two times.

• To switch off the candle, slide the switch to the OFF position.

Cleaning and Storage

• To clean the article, dust it with a soft, dry cloth. More intense

soiling can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

• Keep the article out of the reach of children and animals in a

dry place that is protected from direct sunlight when it is not

being used.

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly

manner and take it to a recycling centre.

Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly man-

ner at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic

devices.

Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the article

and disposed of separately from the article at suitable col-

lection points.
