PICTURE taking mode
1. Press the MENU button i n photo mode, Sel ect PHOTO and press OK to e nter option selecti on.
2. Sel ect the SIZE by pushing t he Direction Key DOW N, press OK to enter resol ution sel ection.
3. Sel ect desired resol ution by pushing the Di rection Key UP
or DOW N;
3M (2048 x 1536), 5M (2592 x 1944), 8M (3200 x 2400),12M (4000 x 3000)
then press OK to confirm setti ng.
5.5 Taking video or pictures
1. Open screen / turn on your camera.
2. Press the MODE button to sel ect PICTURES ( ) or VID EO recording mode( )
3. Use the LCD screen as a view finder composi ng the scene.
4. Press the REC button for taki ng a PICTURE, or press t his button to start / stop VIDEO
recording.
Note: 1. Keep camera and the obj ect steady w hen making records to avoi d blurry images.
2. Max video fil e size is 4GB.The unit will stop recording automati cally.
5.6 Zoom IN and OUT
Your camera can zoom i n up to 20 X (5 X opti cal zoom and 4 X digi tal zoom).
Push the zoom button LEFT/RIGHT for s electi ng desired scene / view.
Note the zoom bar in screen s howing the zoomi ng range.

5.7 Pla y ba ck PICTURES and VI DEO clips
1. Press t he PLAYBACK button ( ) once to enter PICTURES Pl ayback mode, press it a gain to
enter VIDEO Playback mode ( PHOTO / VIDEO i con will be showed on top of scre en).
2. Push t he Direction Key UP / DOW N / LEFT / RIGHT to select desi red PICTURE / VIDEO.
3. Press OK to co nfirm selected VIDEO or s ee full size PICTURE.
4. W hen viewing a photo, you may p ush (l eft) or (right) to zoom out or i n the photo; Press
OK again for starting the sli de show.
5. W hen viewing video cli ps, Press OK to start pl aying the video and press agai n to pause.
6. W hen playing the video, pus h the Direction Key RIGHT / LE FT for fast forward or re wind the
VIDEO.
5.8 Delete photographs and video clips
1. Press t he PLAYBACK( ) b utton once to enter t he PHOTO playback mode, or press agai n
to enter VIDEO clip pl ayback mode.
Select the photo or video to del ete.
2. Press t he MENU button to enter t he delete mode.
3. Push t he Direction Key LEFT or RIGHT f or sel ect delete current image or del ete all images
and press OK to confirm.
4. Press t he MODE button to exit.
6. Connect ing the H D DV camera
6.1 Connect to TV
When you wish to view on High Definition (HD) TV, please use suppli ed HDMI cabl e and connect
as shown below:
Set your HDTV to correspo nding HDMI IN PUT (review TV Ma nual if needed) and use camera
buttons in the same way as yo u use camera duri ng PLAYBACK mode.
Enjoy watching pictures and HD VIDEO on large HDT V screen!
You may also view PIC TURES and recorded VID EO clips on typical standard TV set . Make

You may also connect your HD camcorder to PC for v iewing PICTURES and VIDEOS on t he

Upload to Y ou T ube
Please install MED IAIMPRESSION. This software e nables upload to YouTube. This will take you
directly to Y ouTube website for easy upload of videos.

You may also install QuickTime (not bundled o n supplied CD) or other s uitable programs for best
video playback.
HD Video data is very complex; use Win XP, Vi sta, Mac9.x and newest comp uters – ol der and
slower computers may not play your HD V ideo clips so well .
