4. Safety regulations
Use of the desktop charger DCX 00 assumes that the operator complies with conventional safety
regulations in order to eliminate faulty operation of the unit.
The following points are to be observed:
- The unit may not be taken into the Ex-area.
- The unit, mobile phones and battery modules should not be exposed to temperatures outside
0°C ... +40°C (+32°F ... +104°F).
- The unit should only be used indoors and in dry areas.
- Only original ecom Ex-mobile phones X.com x0x (40x, 50x, 60x) and the original ecom battery
modules AMX x0 (40, 50, 60) may be charged.
- Only use the original mains adapter supplied when connecting the desktop charger to the power
supply.
- Never place a mobile phone in the charger without a correctly inserted battery module.
- Switch off the mobile phone when in close proximity to medical instruments and if you are reque-
sted to do so by corresponding regulations!
- Do not switch on the mobile phone when the use of such devices is prohibited, as it may cause
interference or result in danger.
- Manufacturers of cardiac pacemakers recommend a minimum distance of approx. 15 cm is main-
tained between a mobile phone and a pacemaker.
