The SMS sending options are: message centre number, save all messages, reply, period of vali-
dity (during that period, the network provider will try to send the message) and message format.
The following options are available:
- Store sent messages: (it is highly recommended that you keep this function deactivated, in
order to avoid a full memory).
- Retrieval mode: if you are in a poor coverage area, it may be more convenient to choose the
manual retrieval mode which gives you the Retrieve later option.
- Priority: selection of a priority with which to send a message.
- Request delivery report: request of a delivery report when sending a message.

- Send delivery report: sending a delivery report when receiving a message.
- MMS ignore: if you want to deactivate the reception of any MMS in your phone.
- MMS server: to select another MMS provider or set the parameters of a new MMS provider.
- Sender visibility: you hereby choose whether or not to display your phone number together
with the message on the receiver‘s phone screen.
- Maximal size: [undocumented, maximum size] in order to activate or deactivate the option for
the maximum size supported by MMS.
Memory
You can query how much memory is available to store messages.
In the Messages menu, choose the Memory menu and [Select].
Choose one of the options given: SMS or MMS. The SMS display shows the available memory
on either the SIM card or in the phone. The MMS display shows how much memory is being
used in kilobytes.
Local information
This menu is used to activate the reception of local broadcast information through the network.
You can select whether or not you would like to receive this information (please contact your
network provider). In the News menu select the menu Local info and then Select.
