Plumbing connections (by the Dealer)
YOUR STOVE MUST NEVER BE ALLOWED TO FUNCTION WITHOUTANY WATER IN THE SYSTEM.
IF YOU EVER LIGHTYOUR STOVE UPWHEN ITIS DRY, YOU WILLDAMAGE IT.
The plumbing connections must be made by qualified staff entitled to issue a declaration of compliance with Italian Law MD 37, ex
L46/90 or the equivalent laws in force in the case of foreign countries.
Practical NOTE
When connecting the water supply, return and overflow pipes, provide solutions suitable for making it easy to move the stove in futu-
re, if and when the need arises.
Treating the water
You should make provision for antifreeze, anti-incrustation and anti-corrosion substances to be added to the water. If the water used
to fill and top up the system has a hardness in excess of 35°F, you should also use a water softener to reduce its hardness.
For suggestions, refer to UNI standard 8065-1989 (Treating water in heating systems for residential use) or your national equivalent.
Observation of return watertemperature.
Asuitable system must be provided for to guarantee a return water temperature of no lower than 45°C.
