Positioning and installing
• The room is well ventilated.
• The smoke flue / the chimney receives the smoke from the stove only.
• The smoke flue has: a maximum of 2 curves, a maximum of 2 metres on the horizontal and at least 1.5 metres vertical length.
• The flue pipes are made of suitable material (we recommend stainless steel).
• If they pass through any inflammable materials (such as wood), all necessary precautions have been taken to avoid fire.
• The volume to be heated has been evaluated suitably, considering the degree of efficiency of the heaters:
how many kW are necessary?
• The plumbing system has been declared to comply with Italian Law DM 37 ex L46/90 or the equivalent in the country of
installation by a technician who is entitled to issue such a declaration.
Usage
• The wood pellets used (6 mm diameter) are of good quality and are not damp.
• The combustion chamber and the ash tray are clean and well positioned.
• The cleaning rods are rattled every day.
• The exchanger pipes and the parts inside the combustion chamber are clean.
• The smoke duct (see page 37) is clean.
• The hydraulic system has been vented.
• The pressure (read on the pressure gauge) is about 1-1,5 bar.
REMEMBER TO VACUUM THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER BEFORE EVERYIGNITION
If the stove does not ignite, do NOT repeat the ignition procedure before emptying the combustion chamber.
