IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before use, check the appliance for damages. The motor bloc, the bowl, the lid and the
blade should not show any cracks or defects. The power cord should not show any cracks
or rips.
Never chop foods warmer than 50°C or pour liquids or juicy foods in the bowl.
To avoid damaging the blade, never chop too hard foods (nutmeg, dried peas and beans,
corn, meat with bones, sugar, ice, coffee etc.)
Never fill the bowl completely.
To prevent the appliance from overheating, never exceed the advised doses and time,
stated in the table below. At the end of each operation, let the appliance cool down for at
least 2 minutes.
When chopping larger amounts, make a break at several intervals.
Wait until the blade has come to standstill before opening the lid.
Clean all parts that come in contact with foods thoroughly after each operation. To do so,
follow the advise in the cleaning section below.
The blade is very sharp, handle it with care.
Do not put the bowl in the microwave oven.
Never immerse the motor bloc in water.
OPERATION
Put the bowl on the motor block and the blade on the central shaft, making sure that it is
fixed correctly.
Put the food cut into small pieces in the bowl.
Put the lid on the bowl.
Plug in the appliance.
Switch on the appliance by pressing the lid down in short intervals with the palm of your
hand.
If the appliance does not operate, check if some food is stuck between the lid and the
edge of the bowl.
To switch off the appliance, simply release the lid; a safety device automatically stops the
rotation of the blade.
To remove the lid, pull it upwards.
To remove the blade, press the central knob and pull it upwards simultaneously.
Afterwards, simply remove the bowl.
PRACTICAL HINTS
Never operate the appliance while it is empty.
For a better chopping result, press the lid several times in small intervals.
To chop finely and equally, you can move the food from the sides to the centre of the bowl
with a spatula.
After a long use, if the chopping result is no longer satisfactory, it is necessary to replace the
blade.
