ƽ Caution:
When using the equipment, a few safety precautions
must be observed to avoid injuries and damage.
Please read the complete operating instructions and
safety regulations with due care. Keep this manual in
a safe place, so that the information is available at all
times. If you give the equipment to any other person,
hand over these operating instructions and safety
regulations as well. We cannot accept any liability for
damage or accidents which arise due to a failure to
follow these instructions and the safety instructions.
1. Special safety instructions
Ȝ Read the operating instructions before using the
equipment for the first time. The equipment may
only be used as described therein. All other
usages are not permitted.
Ȝ Keep the instructions in a safe place and give
them to third parties if necessary.
Ȝ Check that the equipment has been delivered in
perfect condition. If it has suffered any damage,
do not connect the equipment to the power
supply.
Ȝ Check the equipment, particularly the mains
lead, for signs of damage every time before use.
If you find signs of damage, contact ISC GmbH.
Ȝ Not suitable for commercial purposes.
Ȝ Use the equipment in enclosed, dry areas only.
Ȝ Never open the equipment or touch live parts –
danger of death!
Ȝ Never use the equipment in the vicinity of wash
basins, water connections, swimming pools or in
the bathroom!
Ȝ Never immerse the equipment in water – danger
of death!
Ȝ Do not place the equipment near wet rooms or
wet areas (bath, shower, swimming pool etc.)
The heater should be installed so that switches
and other controllers could not be touched by
someone in the bath or shower.
Ȝ Never use the equipment with wet hands.
Ȝ Do not cover the equipment – fire risk! (Fig. 4)
Ȝ Position the equipment in such a way that the
mains plug is accessible at all times.
Ȝ If the equipment is not used for a lengthy period
of time, disconnect it from the mains supply.
Ȝ Do not position the equipment directly below a
socket.
Ȝ If the equipment is used for a lengthy time the
housing can become very hot. Position the
appliance in such a way as to prevent accidental
contact.
Ȝ Never position the equipment on deep pile
carpets.
Ȝ Do not use the equipment in rooms in which
inflammable materials (for example solvents,
etc.) or gases are used or stored.
Ȝ Keep highly inflammable substances and gases
away from the equipment.
Ȝ Do not use in areas where there is a fire risk (for
example wooden sheds).
Ȝ Only use the heater with its mains lead fully
extended.
Ȝ Not suitable for installation on permanently
installed electrical cables.
Ȝ Do not use the equipment for animal husbandry
or livestock breeding.
Ȝ Do not insert any foreign objects in the
equipmentʼs openings – danger of electric shock
and damage to the equipment.
Ȝ Keep children and people on medication or
under the influence of alcohol away from the
equipment.
Ȝ Maintenance and repair work may only be
carried out by authorized trained personnel.
Ȝ For electrical safety purposes we recommend
that you install a residual current device circuit-
breaker.
This appliance has not been designed for use by
people (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental capacities or those with no
experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person who is responsible for their
safety or they have received instructions from such a
person in how to use the appliance safely. Children
must always be supervised in order to ensure that
they do not play with the equipment.
ƽ CAUTION
Read all safety regulations and instructions. Any
errors made in following the safety regulations and
instructions may result in an electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury.
Keep all safety regulations and instructions in a
safe place for future use.
