14.1.1. Ash discharge
The ashtray drawer (C) which is located inside the lower door, must be checked periodically and emptied if necessary.
To extract it, lift it slightly using the handle.
14.1.2. Cleaning the glass
Clean the glass only when it is cold. Use a dry brush and, if necessary, a specific detergent: spray a little detergent
on the glass and clean with a cloth. There are specific products that can be used to clean the glass (see our
Glasskamin price list).
14.1.3. Cleaning of the external parts
To clean the coating, do not use aggressive detergents.
Do not wet with cold water when the coating is hot, because the thermal shock could cause damage.
14.2. Cleaning the flue
By qualified personnel (see paragraph “Season maintenance”).
We recommend doing it before the season of use and whenever you notice that a layer of soot and tar, an easily
flammable substance, has formed inside.
Encrustations, in the presence of high temperatures and sparks, can ignite with serious consequences for both the
flue and the home.
