The intake air can be brought from an adjacent place provided that:
The flow can take place unhindered though permanent openings that communicate with the outdoor environment
The room adjacent to the installation room is never depressurised compared to the outdoor environment
The adjacent room is not used as a garage or for activities with a risk of fire, nor is it a bathroom or a bedroom
The adjacent room is not a common room of the building
In Italy, the standard UNI 10683 provides that the ventilation is sufficient even if it is guaranteed in anyway the
maintenance of the pressure difference between the outdoor and the room environment is equal or less than 4 Pa
(standard UNI EN 13384-1 not exhaustive example).
The responsibility for this is of the installer that issues the declaration of conformity.
8.11. Use of concentric pipes
Regardless of the general indications, it is possible to use concentric pipes (that therefore provides the passage of
smoke internally and the passage of the combustion air through the outer circular ring).
This type of installation allows the execution of one single hole on the wall, instead of one for the air intake and
another for the exhaustion of smoke.
The height is calculated through a special sizing with the pipe supplier.
We normally recommend not exceeding 6 metres.
8.12. Electrical connection
Place the socket in an easily accessible position.
Voltage variations greater than 10% may compromise operation.
The electrical system must be in accordance with current regulations; in particular, check the efficiency of the earthing
system.
The product is supplied with a power cable to be connected to a 230V 50 Hz socket, preferably with a circuit breaker.
