Do not put up or move the speaker only by holding the 4Pi tweeter. The 4Pi tweeter is a
sensitive component and it is not designed for increased mechanical stresses.
Due to its enormous weight (55 kg, including packaging material), the Spirit of Music CE is delivered in a special
carrier box. This box provides two hand holes to ensure easy transport.
Carry the box near to the place where you would like to install the loudspeaker. The bottom surface of the box must
be placed right there, where you are going to set up the speaker. This way, you will avoid carrying the speaker later
on.
Slit the box and open it. The box contains the Spirit of Music CE. The top and the bottom of the speaker are
protected by means of styrofoam shells.
NOTE: Do not remove the styrofoam shells.

about is longitudinal axis, so that the loudspeaker will be protected by styrofoam shells on its
top and bottom surface when placed on the floor. Lift the box.
Take out the base and the tilting device. The styrofoam shell of the 4Pi tweeter contains the folded box, that
includes spikes and fastening screws.
Preparations and installation
Remove the Styrofoam shells from the bottom of the speaker and place the tilting device (wedge) underneath the
loudspeaker. The higher part of the wedge must be flush with the bottom part of the loudspeaker.
NOTE:
Do not remove the bottom part of the styrofoam shell in order to ensure protection of
the cabinet and the 4Pi tweeter. Do not remove the PE bag and the cover until the
installation is completed.
Place the base in the groove, so that the inclined surface of the loudspeaker matches with the through boreholes in
the threads of the bottom of the loudspeaker.
Screw the four M8x30 screws through the through boreholes in the base of the loudspeaker.
Mount the spikes carefully to the bottom side of the base in order to ensure perfect stability. (Please refer to the
enclosed manual.)
Make sure, that the tilting device is placed there, where it provides great stability. Then tilt the loudspeaker carefully
in order to set it up upright.
Important: Do not put up the loudspeaker by holding the 4Pi tweeter. Put up the loudspeaker by holding the
cabinet which is protected by a foil.
Remove the tilting device.
Remove the PE bag and the cover from the loudspeaker now.
Now the connection of the loudspeaker can be done.
