Fully recharge the batteries leaving the vehicle con-
nected to the 220 V mains for about 12 hours.
Disconnect the auxiliary battery using the dedicated
battery disconnection switch (see page 50).
Leave the air intakes clear.
Check that all the gas taps for the appliances on board
and the main cylinder valve are shut.
Drain the hydraulic system completely and clean it.
Drain both the tanks and the boiler and make sure that
the pipes are empty.
Check that the boiler safety/discharge valve is open so
that it is not consuming any current and draining the
battery.
Lift up the windscreen wiper blades away from the
glass.
Check the tyre ination pressure.
Before using the vehicle again, wash the fresh water
tank and the hot and cold water supply pipes carefully
and rinse thoroughly and then check the tyre ination
pressure again.
prolonged Storage
Proceed as follows if the vehicle will not be used for a long
period (longer than one month):
Remove perishable foods.
Clean the inside of the refrigerator and leave the door
ajar so that air can circulate.
Wash the vehicle thoroughly, both inside and out.
Cover the cushions with a cloth made from a breatha-
ble fabric to protect them from the sun.
It is advisable to ll the fuel tank completely, to prevent
the formation of condensation which, producing cor-
rosion, can cause serious damage to the fuel system.
If possible, park the vehicle in a covered area, which is
dry and well ventilated.
If possible, raise the vehicle on stands or move it, once
a month, to prevent the tyres becoming distorted.
Engage rst gear and check that the handbrake is ap-
plied.
Position the stop chocks.
If the vehicle is parked in a secure place and has an
alarm system, switch o the alarm using the remote
control to prevent the battery from becoming run
down quickly.
Fully recharge the batteries leaving the vehicle con-
nected to the 220 V mains for about 12 hours.
Disconnect the auxiliary battery using the dedicated
battery disconnection switch (see page 50).
Disconnect the negative lead from the service battery
pole and check the charge every three months. Re-
charge the batteries when necessary.
If the batteries are not disconnected, check
the charge once a month and keep it at the
maximum level.
Leave the air intakes clear.
Check that all the gas taps for the appliances on board
and the main cylinder valve are shut.
Remove the gas cylinders even if they are complete-
ly empty and place them in a covered, well ventilated
area.
Drain the hydraulic system completely and clean it.
Drain both the tanks and the boiler and make sure that
the pipes are empty.
It is advisable to place a camphor block near the refrig-
erator burner located inside the lower outer air grille to
prevent insects blocking the nozzle.
Check that the boiler safety/discharge valve is open so
that it is not consuming any current and draining the
battery.
Apply talc to the windscreen wiper blades and lift them
away from the glass.
Inate the tyres to a pressure 0.5 bar higher than the
recommended gure and check regularly.
Before using the vehicle again, wash the fresh water
tank and the hot and cold water supply pipes carefully
and rinse thoroughly and then restore the tyre ination
pressure to the recommended gure.
Before setting o after a long period of storage, have
the braking system and the gas system checked care-
fully at an authorised workshop.
WInterISatIon
Proceed as follows if the vehicle will not be used during
the winter:
Clean the body, the underbody and the oor thor-
oughly.
Drain the hydraulic system completely.
Disconnect and remove the batteries and store them
somewhere protected against frost.
Disconnect the gas cylinders and remove them even if
they are completely empty.
Remove the cushions and store them somewhere dry.
Leave the air intakes clear.
Clean the inside of the refrigerator and leave the door
ajar so that air can circulate.
Place dehumidiers inside the vehicle and air the inte-
rior every three to four weeks.
Clean the hinges for the doors and all the outer aps
and grease them.
Spray lubricant oil into the locks and the interior clo-
sure mechanisms.
