If the carbon monoxide detector does not emit light or sound after pressing the
test button, it means that the device has not yet been activated or is not working
properly. Check whether the detector has been correctly activated (see chapter
"Activation and testing"). Then, keep the test button pressed until the detector
emits a light and sound signal. If this does not happen, the appliance does not
function properly and must not be used.

Recommended use
• Warning: This device must be installed by a qualified person.
• Warning: The installation of a carbon monoxide detector should not be a substitute for proper
installation, use and maintenance of combustion appliances and suitable ventilation and
exhaust systems.
• Warning: Risk of electric shock or malfunction if the carbon monoxide detector has been
tampered with.
• Warning: Keep electronic equipment and packaging materials out of the reach of children and
pets.
• Do not expose the product and batteries to extreme temperatures.
• This product is not water resistant and is only suitable for indoor use. Only clean the product
with a dry cloth.
• The following substances can affect the sensor and cause false alarms: methane, propane,
isobutylene, isopropanol, ethylene, benzene, toluene, ethyl acetate, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur
dioxide, alcohol-based products, paints, thinners, solvents, adhesives, hair sprays, aftershaves,
perfumes and some cleaning agents.
• EN 50291-1 - The apparatus may not prevent the chronic effects of carbon monoxide exposure.
The apparatus will not fully safeguard individuals at special risk.
Symbols
The WEEE symbol indicates that this product and its batteries should be disposed of,
separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its life, take it to a
designated waste collection point in your area to ensure safe disposal or recycling. Protect
the environment and human health and use natural resources responsibly!
