14.3.2.2 Using the ‘Pair’ option
The following steps were done using an Android smartphone.
1. Select ‘App’ in the main menu and press the ‘OK’ button.
2. Select ‘YouTube leanback’ and press the ‘OK’ button.
3. Select ‘Pair’ and press the ‘OK’ button.
4. If correct, a screen will be shown telling you to login to a specific website. The
screen also shows an activation code, as shown in the following image:

5. Now open the web browser on your smartphone.
6. Fill out the web address as shown in the image and press the ‘Enter’ or ‘Go’
button.
7. You need to fill out the ‘Pair’ code. You can also fill out a name for this
connection.
8. If the code has been accepted, your smartphone or tablet will be added to the
media player. The media player will show the connected device on screen, as
shown in the following image:
