Extension for the 3rd Bike Prod. No. 11408
Fits Prod. No. 11417 “JAMES”
Fit the wheel rail using the M6 x 30 screws, washers and M6 nuts.
Start by inserting the screws into the compound part rail. Tighten the nuts firmly. Use the
M6 x 75 carriage bolts and the 1 belt guide, as the front wheel of the bike is also fixed with a
small strap. See photograph. Now insert the stoppers into the top splitter. However, before
doing this, pull the small straps through the holes that are in place for this. See photograph. Pull
the straps from the inside outwards then back from the outside inwards. Insert the end caps.
Place the stoppers against the wheel from the inside outwards.
Unscrew the wheel rail with the lighting from the existing carrier. Remove the plastic caps and
press the booms in here and fix them with the M6 x 30 screws and washers supplied (see
photograph).
Now screw the wheel rail with the lighting tightly to the holes in the booms. Place the wheel rail
supplied in the middle. Fix the third bike from wheel 2 to wheel 3 using the frame holder
supplied.
Use the small strap to also secure the front wheel.
Caution: fix the third wheel from bike 2 to bike 3 using the frame holder supplied.
Caution: always use the safety belt available. The belt supplied, with lock and hooks, can
also be placed around the U-bolt and the hook hooked onto the boot lid if possible. (See picture)
Caution: do not clip the hook to glass or plastic!
