Please note:
• If “Sunny“ is displayed at night, this indicates a starlit night.
• The “Snowfall” icon appears instead of “Rain" when the outside temperature is below 0 °C
(temperature measured over outdoor sensor "1", which therefore should not be in a basement
room but outside!).
• The display does not depict the current weather conditions, instead it is a forecast of the next
12 to 24 hours.
• The calculation of the weather forecast based only on atmospheric pressure results in a
maximum accuracy of about 70%. This means that the real weather can be entirely different
on the following day. Since the measured atmospheric pressure is only valid for an area with
a diameter of about 50 km, the weather can also change quickly. This is especially the case
in mountainous areas and high mountain regions.
This is why you should not rely on the weather forecast of the weather station but get some
information locally, for example when you want to hike the mountains.
• Incaseofsuddenor largerairpressureuctuations,thedisplay symbols areupdatedto
indicate the weather change. If the display symbols do not change, either the air pressure did
not change or the change occurred so gradually that it cannot be registered by the weather
station.
• If the weather forecast shows “Sun” or “Rain”, the display will not change even if the weather
improves (”Sun” icon) or deteriorates (”Rain” icon) since those symbols already display the
two extreme conditions.
The symbols indicate a weather change for the better or worse, which, however, may not
necessarily mean sun or rain (as indicated by the symbols).
• After inserting new batteries, you should not pay attention to the weather forecasts for the
rst12to24hoursbecausethestationmustrstcollectairpressuredatainthisperiodata
constant altitude before being able to make a more exact forecast.
• If the weather station is taken to a site at a much higher or lower altitude than the original one
(e.g.fromthegroundoortoanupperoorofahouse),theweatherstationmayconsider
this a weather change.
