1. Reed before use this manual carefully and in total.
2. Remove all the package from the heater and be sure that it is out of the reach of
children.
3. Check the heater, cord and plug before use, to make sure it is in good condition. If it
is damaged, don’t use it but send it back to your dealer, to be replaced.
4. This product is intended for normal household use only.
5. Make sure that the heater always is positioned vertically on a solid, flat and horizon-
tal foundation.
6. This heater is not suitable for use in wet or damp rooms as bathrooms, laundry’s
etc. Don’t install it in the neighbourhood of water points like taps, pumps etc., make
sure that it never can drop into water and prevent water to enter the heater. If the
heater should drop into water at any time, then unplug at first. Don’t use a heater
which has got wet inside but take it to your service point for control/repair. Never lo-
cate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container en do never
immerse any part of the heater, cord or plug in water or other liquid! Never touch
the heater with wet hands.
7. The on the heater specified voltage and frequency must match the mains voltage.
The electric installation has to be protected by an earth fall device (max. 30 mAmp).
8. Extend the cord fully before use and arrange it so that it is not in contact with any
part of the heater or can get heat in any way. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do
not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic
area where it will not be tripped over. Route the cord so that it will not be walked on,
or pinched by furniture. Don’t lead the cord around pointed corners and don’t wrap it
to strong after use.
9. We do not recommend use of an extension cord as it may overheat and cause a
risk of fire. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, use an undamaged, ap-
proved cord with a minimum section of 2 x 1mm² and a the current rated not less
than 300Watt. Also the extension cord has to be fully extended, to prevent over-
heating/fire!
10. Don’t use the heater outdoors and don’t use it in room, smaller but 1 m².
11. A heater has hot, arcing and/or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where
gasoline, paint or flammable liquids or gasses etc. are used or stored.
12. Don’t situate the heater nearby- under- of pointed to a socket and not nearby open
fire or sources of heat.
13. Do not use near or point the heater to furniture, animals, curtains, paper, bedding or
other inflammable objects. Keep this kind of combustible materials at least 1 meter
from the heater.
14. Do never cover the heater! The appliance air inlet and outlet openings may never
be obstructed in any way, to prevent a possible fire. Do not use the heater to dry
clothes or to put anything on, and don’t place it on soft surfaces, like a bed or on
thick and long pile carpet, which may block openings.
15. Make sure that the air around the heater can circulate freely. Don’t place the heater
to close to a wall or big objects, and not under a shelf, hanging cupboard etc.
