Before using the air conditioner, check:
That it has been installed according to safety instructions
That it is not damaged or broken
That the electrical socket that you wish to use has the same voltage as is given on
the unit’s specification plate (220-240V / 50Hz)
That no other devices are connected to the same socket
If this has all been checked, you can insert the plug into the socket.
The control panel en the remote control have basically the same buttons.
At the back of the remote control, insert two batteries (AAA-1.5V) into the
appropriate compartment.
Switch the device on with the ‘power’ button.
1. Cooling function
Press the ‘Mode’ button until the ‘Cool’ light is shown on the display.
The display shows 25°C.
Set the required temperature with the Temp+(Up)/Temp-(Down) button. The
display shows the configured temperature. The temperature can be set between
16 and 31°C.
Press the ‘Speed/Wind’ button to set the ventilator speed at silent, normal or
turbo.
Observe an interval of at least 3 minutes between every on/off.
2. Dehumidification function
Press the ‘Mode’ button until the ‘Dry’ light is shown on the display.
Check if the water discharge is connected correctly (see page 9).
The display automatically shows 2°C below the room temperature.
The temperature cannot be changed.
The ventilator speed is automatically set to normal.
Observe an interval of at least 3 minutes between every on/off.
3. Ventilation function
Press the ‘Mode’ button until the ‘Fan’ light is shown on the display.
The display shows 25°C.
Set the power to low (silent), medium (normal) or high (turbo) with the ‘Fan
Speed’ button.
The temperature cannot be changed.
4. Timer function
Start automatically: the air conditioning is off. Press on Timer and select the
required time with Temp+(Up)/Temp-(Down). When the display is set at, for
instance, 4 the air conditioning will start in 4 hours.
Stop automatically: the air conditioning is on. Press on Timer and select the
required time with Temp+(Up)/Temp-(Down). When the display is set at, for
instance, 8 the air conditioning will stop in 8 hours.
The timer can be set from 1 to 24 hours.
5. Swing function
Press the ‘Swing’ button, the light on the display lights up.
The flap on top swings continuously from the top to the bottom.
By pressing the button again you switch off the function.
The flap remains in the last position.
6. Night function
Press on the ‘Mode’ button until the ‘Cool’ light shows on the display.
Set the required temperature.
Set the fan speed to silent.
