The COOLSTAR 65 evaporates water with heat that is removed from the room and sends
the cool, humid air back into the room: a process that can be compared to wind blowing
across water.
The COOLSTAR 65 has the following functions:
- Ventilation (3 power settings)
- Ventilation, cooling and humidifying (3 power settings)
- Rotation
Installation and Preparation
Remove the packaging and place the unit straight, on a sturdy, flat and horizontal
surface. Allow sufficient space around the device (air outlet and air inlet).
Check whether the socket that you wish to use provides the required voltage, as
detailed on the specification plate.
Pull the water reservoir roughly 7 cm backwards and fill with clean water; Fill the
reservoir above the "MIN"- but below the "MAX" level.
If you require extra cooling, you could add frozen ice packs in the water reservoir (not
included).
If you wish to use the humidification function, ensure there is sufficient water in the
reservoir.
If you have not used the unit for some time, refresh any remaining water.
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD WHEN
YOU POUR WATER IN OR OUT OF THE TANK!
Operation
Insert the plug into the socket. The unit is now ready for use.
- By pushing on the 1, 2 or 3, you start ventilation on low, medium or high power.
- By pushing the COOLING button next, you start the cooling function. The pump
circulates water from the reservoir via the water curtain, where it partially evaporates,
thus ensuring cooling. By pushing this button again, the function is disabled again.
