Turn the radiator upside-down (make sure you don’t scratch the paint or the
floor!)
Attach the two supports (each with 2 swivel castors) to the radiator. Place the
appropriate support over the 2x2 protruding threaded ends on the bottom of the
radiator, with the round side against the radiator. Screw them tight with the 2x2
wing nuts.
Return the heater to its upright position, wheels down.
Warning: only use the heater when it is in an upright position, with the wheels
attached to the bottom (as pictured on the front of this booklet). Any other
position is dangerous!
Choose a suitable location for the heater which is at least one metre away from
any obstructions, walls or inflammable materials (see also safety instructions).
Make sure a functioning heater is always placed on a solid, flat and horizontal
surface. Never place it on a bed, couch, deep pile carpet etcetera!
Check that the socket used is earthed and that it matches the power specified on
the heater’s type plate.
Set-up and Operation
Set the output button to off (O) and the thermostat dial to HIGH (maximum).
Plug in the heater.
In order to switch on the heater, set the output button to l, II or III. The heater
starts to function. For slow heating, a small rise in temperature or a small space,
choose setting I or II (both 750W). For quick
heating, a bigger temperature rise or a larger
space, choose setting III (1500W).
Once the space has reached the right
temperature, turn the thermostat dial to LOW
until you hear a click. The light goes out and
the heater shuts down. If you leave the dial in
this position, the heater will maintain the
current temperature by regularly switching on
and off. When the heater is switched on, the
light will go on. By turning the thermostat dial
to the left/right, you increase/decrease the set
temperature.
If so desired, you can now switch to a lower power level.
To switch off, turn the output button to off (O). The heater switches off. Unplug.
Note! It takes some time for a radiator to cool down. Give the radiator sufficient
time to cool down before touching or moving (use handle!).
Attention! The light switches on when the plug is in the socket and the room
temperature is lower than the set temperature, and also when the capacity
selection button is set to O (off)!
Safety features
The heater is fitted with a tipping safeguard which automatically shuts off the
appliance if it inadvertently falls over. When the heater is returned to its upright
position, it will resume functioning as normal but, before reusing, switch off, unplug
