In order to avoid damaging the compressor, never place the dehumidifier on a slope of
over 45°.
The device works between 5°C and 32°C.
When being used, the compressor will emit heat which can increase the ambient
temperature by between 1 and 3°C. This is perfectly normal.
If the indoor temperature is lower than 10°C and air humidity is pretty low, you will not
need to use the device.
Ensure that there is at least 10 cm of free space between the air inlet and the outlet
opening and any solid objects, e.g. a wall.
Try to ensure that the room is as well sealed as possible in order to improve the
dehumidification result.
Cleaning
Too much dust on the filter will impact upon the
device’s ability to dehumidify. Clean the filter
regularly (at least once a month); if the device is
placed in a dusty environment, you should clean
it weekly or even daily. To do so, open the front
panel and take the filter (1) out. Remove the
loose dust by carefully knocking the filter. Then
vacuum the filter gently or wash it in lukewarm
water with a little, mild soap. Leave to dry
thoroughly before repositioning in the device (follow the above instructions in reverse
order). Never use the dehumidifier without a filter! If also the element (2) is dirty, you can
clean it carefully with a brush, see fig. The housing and the water reservoir can be cleaned
with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Never use corrosive or abrasive products as
these could damage the finish. Always remove the plug from the socket before carrying
out any cleaning work!
